Vietnam & Cambodia Highlights,

We have pleasure to organise a trip to a fantastic duo countries ‘Vietnam and Cambodia’.
Both the countries has many beautiful places like Palaces, Beaches, Museums, Deltas, floting
Villages, Biggest Hindu Temples along with its own Culture, Architecture, War Monuments,
Memorials, History & Geography. In this 7 days trip we will explore the famous and must
see destinations of both the countries.

Join us for the same and go through the detail itinerary mentioned below;

. Passport is Compulsory to visit Vietnam & Cambodia.
. Passport size 6 photographs are necessary.
. Currency in Vietnam is VND i.e. Dong - exchange rate is 1 INR = 337 VND
. Currency in Cambodia is KHR i.e. Riel – exchange rate is 1 INR = 61 KHR
. We will assist you for Air ticketing & Visa process.
. We all will depart from Mumbai – India on 9 December 2018 by night flight and will arrival at Ho Chi Minh - Vietnam by 10.00 am as per Vietnam Time Zone.
. We will depart from Siem Reap – Cambodia on 16 December 2018 by 8.00 pm as per Cambodian Time Zone and will reach Mumbai – India by 1.00 am as per IST.

Itinerary

Day 1         
Hotel/Resort - at HO CHI MINH CITY     
Location - HO CHI MINH CITY

HO CHI MINH CITY – ARRIVAL (L/D)
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the morning, welcome by our team leader and guide and transfer to hotel for check in. Ho Chi Minh City, formerly named Saigon is the largest city and economic center of Vietnam always bustled with activities of modern life. It is where businesses converge and shoppers indulge themselves into unlimited choices. However the city also carries with it a rich historical legacy in contrast with its dazzling glamor. Afternoon, take a half-day city tour to visit Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral built by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles (This architecture is being closed to renovate until 2020, so we can visit from outside only). Visit Saigon Central Post Office, which was designed and constructed in the early 20th Century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel. If time permits – we will visit one of the famous sea face ‘Vung Tau’ which is also known as Cap Saint Jacques. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning, take a half-day tour to the Cu Chi tunnels, 75 km Northwest of downtown Ho Chi Minh city, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and later on Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges. Back to Ho Chi Minh city. Afternoon, take a short city tour to visit the War Remnants museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits including weaponry, photos and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans, and Benh Thanh market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 3         
Hotel/Resort - at Ho Chi Minh city.     
Location - Ho Chi Minh city.

HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO (MEKONG DELTA) – 65Km (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Travel by road to the Mekong Delta, the world’s largest delta and Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho city, capital of Tieng Giang Provine, embark on a boat and navigate through intricate canals while observing the local daily life up close as well as the landscape of waterways and lush islands. Land on the Unicorn Island to enjoy wandering through verdant orchards, tasting fresh fruits and listening to some Southern style traditional music. Move on to the second delta province, Ben Tre, where you will watch local villagers make coconut candy in a rural workshop, walk around briefly and try riding a horse-pulled carriage. More cruising to some bee-keeping households to taste fresh homegrown honey and honey tea. Go back Ho Chi Minh City and spend time at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 4         
Hotel/Resort - at Phnom Penh
Location - Phnom Penh

HO CHI MINH CITY – PHNOM PENH BY SHUTTLE BUS (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Meet our guide & driver at the hotel lobby then transfer to Bus Station for shuttle bus from Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh. It take around 06 hours. Arrival to bus station in Phnom Penh, warm welcomed by our tour guide then transfer to hotel for check in. In the afternoon, visit to Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda which located within the grounds of the Royal Palace. Then continue to the National Museum, one of Phnom Penh's true architectural gems. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 5         
Hotel/Resort - at SIEM REAP
Location - SIEM REAP

PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP BY BUS (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit the "Khmer Rouge" prison Tuol Sleng and the Killing Field of Choeung Ek. Witness Cambodia horrible recent past. Transfer to Siem Reap by shuttle bus. En route you will cross an ancient bridge called “Spean Kompong Kdei” it was built in the 13th century and it is 87 meters long. The balustrades are carved to look like the bodies of giant snakes. Upon arrive Siem Reap transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 6

SIEM REAP FULL DAY TOUR (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, visit to the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century) : the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. After your rest, visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks - the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat, the ocean beyond. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 7         
Hotel/Resort - at SIEM REAP
Location - SIEM REAP

SIEM REAP – BOAT TRIP & DEPARTURE (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning time, starting of tours to explore the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and current. Free at leisure until transfer airport for departure flight.
